Our Story
A little peek into the beginning…
We came to Florida to see about flipping houses that had foundations that were sinking. Our friend (now business partner) Mike and Wanda had bought a house with a sunken foundation. He wanted Randall to come check it out and see about flipping it and selling it. They went to Southern Oaks Ranch and Stables to have a meeting….and all the dreaming for the wedding venue began! Randall and Mike are dreamers, they have vision and can see things built before they are. Randall has been a builder/General Contractor since he was in high school and it shows. I call him a master carpenter….because He is! So when Randall asked me back in 2017 if I had any interest in opening one, I said absolutely not! That would mean we had to move….from Ohio, and the home we lived in for 19 years. Away from both of our families, and away from our friends and our daughters’ (we have 4) friends. We have always hosted and hospitality has been a huge part of our lives since we were married in 1998. Fast forward a few years from 2017…we moved from Ohio, we planned to be here just a year and a half so we “packed light”. Lets just say we are going to have to eventually go back and get the rest of our things. It didn’t take long til this little town of Sebring drew us in and the southern style of cookin, livin, and hospitality fit our family to the T. We are blessed to be here and so excited to meet all our bride and grooms and help them with their Big Day!
